The Overlook at Lake Austin is a community of 22 thoughtfully designed modern residences overlooking Lake Austin in one of the city's most coveted neighborhoods of Westlake.

In the summer of 2013, the site was chosen for its prime location perched on a hillside along Westlake Drive, offering some of the most desired panoramic views of Lake Austin. With a one of a kind location, the developers of The Overlook not only wanted to take full advantage of the site, but also had the desire to develop an architecturally significant residential community in the ever-growing city of Austin.

Celebrated Texas architect, Larry Speck, was the developer's first choice to design this community. Highly regarded for his philosophy and love of architecture, the developers knew that Speck would pay careful attention to the existing landscape and topography while designing not just another piece of real estate, but rather a community that enriched the lives of the residents who live there.
